Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using any Oberon Labs application or website. By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use our services.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using any application developed by Oberon Labs, or by visiting oberonlabs.app, you confirm that you are at least 13 years old (or the age of digital consent in your country) and agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy.
2. Description of Services
Oberon Labs provides mobile applications and related digital services, including but not limited to:
- Golio — a productivity application for professionals and students
- MedGuide Japan — a platform for foreign residents in Japan
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any service at any time with reasonable notice.
3. User Accounts
Some features of our services require you to create an account. You agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete registration information
- Maintain the security of your password and account credentials
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized account access
- Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
4. Payments & Subscriptions
Billing
Paid features are billed in advance on a subscription basis (monthly or annual). All prices are displayed inclusive of applicable taxes at the time of purchase.
Payment Processing
Payments are processed securely by Stripe, Inc. By making a purchase, you also agree to Stripe's Terms of Service. We do not store your payment card details.
Auto-Renewal
Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period. You may cancel at any time before the renewal date to avoid being charged for the next period.
Refunds
Due to the digital nature of our products, all purchases are generally non-refundable. Exceptions may be made at our discretion for technical failures. Refund requests must be submitted within 14 days of purchase to oberonlabs.app@gmail.com.
Price Changes
We may change subscription prices with at least 30 days' notice. Continued use of the service after the price change takes effect constitutes your agreement to the new pricing.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use our services for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any regulations
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of our systems
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble our applications
- Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to access our services without permission
- Transmit any harmful, offensive, or malicious content
- Resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit our services without authorization
- Impersonate any person or entity, or falsely represent your affiliation
6. Intellectual Property
All content, features, and functionality of our services — including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, images, audio clips, and software — are the exclusive property of Oberon Labs and protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use our apps for your personal, non-commercial purposes. This license does not include any right to copy, modify, or distribute our content.
7. Disclaimers
Our services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
We do not warrant that our services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Oberon Labs shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of (or inability to use) our services.
Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or the use of our services shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
9. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to our services at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms or applicable law.
You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us at oberonlabs.app@gmail.com. Upon termination, your right to use the services will immediately cease.
10. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of our services shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, disputes shall be subject to binding arbitration or the jurisdiction of competent courts.
11. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of significant changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of our services after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
